Severe-Duty Friction Specifications

Brake pad compounds are matched to rotor alloy and gross axle rating. Generic aftermarket blocks glaze under sustained downhill retarding or heavy industrial loads.

Inventory Line Brake pad sets: 69.99–76.99 USD per set
Severe-duty semi-metallic brake pad kit showing friction material and backing shims
SKU: BRK-AXLE-HD69 OEM & Aftermarket Matched

Every severe-duty brake pad set supplied through our Austin facility utilizes high-copper or low-metallic friction matrices bonded to steel backing plates under 45-ton pressure. We do not distribute generic organic pads for industrial machinery. Heavy equipment requires stable friction coefficients up to 650°C without heat fade or backing separation.

A common failure mode in Texas field operations is backing plate deflection caused by uneven caliper slide pins. When the steel plate bends even 0.8 mm, the friction material cracks along the centre slot, creating immediate pedal sponge and uneven wear. We inspect backing plate thickness against OEM specifications before boxing.

Three Verification Gates Before Release

No checkout button until the part number matches your housing. We prevent freight returns by confirming physical measurements before any box leaves our Austin depot.

Model Code Check

We check equipment model numbers and chassis serials against manufacturer microfiche to establish factory caliper casting numbers.

Target: Casting verification

Pad Profile Overlay

Friction backing geometry, ear tabs, clip slots, and wear sensor cutouts are matched against 1:1 blueprint outlines.

Target: 0.1 mm tolerance

Caliper Bracket Photo

Clients send a cell photo of the worn pad next to a steel scale or tape measure. We verify bevel angle and spring clips.

Target: Photo confirmation

Austin Inspection Desk Record

Active Verification

Ivan Petrov conducts intake checks on all incoming friction batches. Sets displaying chipped edge friction material, missing anti-rattle shims, or unchamfered edges are quarantined immediately.

Plate Flatness < 0.08 mm
Shear Strength > 3.8 MPa
Coverage 100% Backing

Pricing Variables and Fulfillment

Quotes depend strictly on 6 verified variables. We give firm figures before dispatch and never alter prices after confirmation.

Barton Springs Road counter pickup or Texas commercial freight.

Texas Registered Business • 90-Day Parts Warranty

Every brake pad set sold by Bavrento carries a binding 90-day parts replacement warranty. If a friction block shows premature debonding, cracking, or casting mismatch under normal operating specifications, we exchange the set or issue warehouse credit immediately.

Application Boundaries and Exclusions

Knowing what we refuse to supply protects your equipment. We decline applications where safety margins cannot be confirmed.

  • Who this is for: Commercial workshops, fleet mechanics, farm maintenance teams, and equipment operators who have physical access to the machinery and can verify caliper dimensions.
  • Who this is not for: Buyers demanding an unverified instant checkout button without providing a model code or photograph. We will not ship friction kits on guesswork.
  • Refused applications: Custom altered calipers, passenger racing vehicles, or applications where rotors have been machined thinner than minimum discard thickness.

Explore related component sectors: review our charging alternators, inspect high-pressure fuel delivery pumps, or check general replacement parts catalogue for suspension pins and pivot bushings.
